For #ThingThursday: @[email protected] sent me some origami Star Paper 😻 it's been too long since i made these. if you don't get that first bit just right, you'll be SOL at the end it comes back fast, though

#ThingThursday: I still have the first scissors I ever owned as a kid—probably because I got them quite young and was only allowed to use them with supervision. You can probably date them a bit since they are metal scissors 'for kids', and were made to last.

#ThingThursday following @[email protected] 's sharing of Old (pre-social media) Internet souvenirs, here's a commemorative mug from the first IRL gathering i attended, of the #flyfishing email listserv i still subscribe to :) Sadly, Facebook literally decimated the traffic on that group

oh yeah, back to that #ThingThursday riddle, right. but before i do that: Bonus Thing!! Today i learned that one of the cooler round slide rules (aka volvelle) in my little collection is also in the Smithsonian!!

Just remembered there are 3 more marbles in my beach glass collection (a Martinelli Apple Juice bottle). The fact that they're in there means i found them on a beach. Most of this glass is from Lake Ontario. Never seem to find very much out here. #ThingThursday
