the great thing about standards is how many there are to choose from

My brain is mush but the secret RAVE MODE is awesome: https://youtube.com/shorts/su9OLcav6S0

Half of these are ported from ShaderToy and are under a ShareAlike CC licence so I need to tidy up my hacky mess before publishing.

The mode is activated by a long-press on the Pudsey Clough logo, which cycles between manual change, no shaders, and this mode. I'll put a build up tomorrow.

#theWorkshop This one's a deep cut, and I'm really proud of how it came out— this is a 32x32x32 RGB color cube, converted to 8x8 classic Mac PixPats, at five bit depths, first in grayscale and then in color.

Edit: oh, our instance turned it into a GIF, and its first frame is blank. Well, hover over it!

You're kidding. You have got to be kidding. #theWorkshop

What took me WEEKS last year came together just now, by accident, in maybe two hours.

Here, have a free Mac OS inverse lookup table renderer. God damn it.

Figuring out AGSL has opened up a whole new world, I hacked the metaballs myself but have been porting other people's small shaders from ShaderToy. I won't use all of these but porting (at least simple ones) is fun and painless.

Not tested on many devices but 'works for me'.

A while back I bought an adapter to try to change the strap of my watch but sadly it didnt fit my model so the strap sat in the closet… until now! #theWorkshop

Bought a (used) #KZ #IEM (a ZS10) because I wanted to try something with good isolation for work. Its metal grill thingy immediately fell out from one side, so I spent a good 30m today cleaning it with IPA and putting micropore tape in its place. Also took off the remaining grill as a preventative measure and swapped that too.
Not sure why, but that fucked up the balance, the right side sounded like 3 times louder than the left. Tried to apply the tape in different ways, swapped the tips too, took off the tape from the right side, reapplied it, cleaned the left again, etc.
Now after a lot of trial and error it sounds mostly balanced, but idk what fixed it.

Anyways, glad that I could #repair it.
