#InnovationUltimate never fails to deliver extraordinary experiences. Today I won a game without a single splayed colour - and on top of that only with standard achievements. Go figure.

We played with the #TheUnseen expansion. Although I had yellow splayed early on, my husband swiftly undid that with "Knights Templar" and from that point on took care not to cover that card, which effectively kept me from splaying anything again.

I had raced through the early ages using "Tools" and then "Brethren of Purity" and had no chance to break his tower icon majority anymore. So, I had to go on without splays. For a while he also pressured me to not have any cards left in my hand at the end of a turn by having "Machinery" as his top yellow card.

So, I went on, just hoping to turn the tide. I was lucky to perform a few dogma actions without sharing - mostly because of conditions in the action, not icon majority.

Then "Handbag" (age 8) tipped it over in my favor. And within 2 turns I brought home the remaining 4 achievements I needed to win.

Absolutely remarkable match of a great game. I had goosebumps, my husband was *not* amused.

Meanwhile, we talk again... 😅
