I have to admit that I shied away from watching the last season of #handmaidsTale

The world was already so dark, and maybe as a woman, I didn’t want to choose enveloping myself in more of it.

I just finished it.

And it reminded me of this sculpture of a re-imagined Medusa myth by Luciano Garbati that was burned on my retinas…

It’s beautiful and it’s awful.
