Robert Eggers masterfully orchestrates this tale of vengeance and honor, with Alexander Skarsgård's chilling performance leading a stellar cast. The film's meticulous craftsmanship immerses you in a hauntingly beautiful Viking world, where every frame is a work of art.
Just finished watching the 2024 version of #Nosferatu. I have the original version on DVD, but the remake seemed interesting. Eggers’ take on Hamlet (which I only realized later) was kinda meh, but this was better - still had a lot of that oddly cold and sterile vibe that #TheNorthman had, but this time mostly made up for it with a much more sinister villain. Compared to the material Murnau ripped off, Orlok is much rougher and more openly violent, just to name two differences.
