Not to be a pedant but… that’s not Jazz he’s singing. Well I guess technically it is in an insipid watered down soup sort of way. This is basically a vehicle for Neil Diamond, which was a bit of an issue for me as I don’t like his music when sung by him (never going to diss I’m A Believer and some of the other songs he’s written). I think my grandma had one of his records. I wish the story hadn’t been so predictable. And I think that’s the main problem. Maybe with a different director it could have
