I know a lot of people were instantly tired of pandemic horror, and I get it. For many horror can be an escape, and the last thing we've wanted in the last five years is revisiting the era of lockdown. But that said, times of great unrest can produce great horror. I'm not sure that we've had a truly great COVID-era horror film, but there have been a number of very good ones and The Harbinger belongs on that list. There are plenty of reasons I can see that this slice of demonic horror wouldn't work people. Pandemic setting aside,

I just spent $5 on a 2022 movie called The Harbinger thinking it was another movie from 2022 called The Harbinger and I want to warn everyone that there are TWO MOVIES WITH THE SAME NAME THAT CAME OUT THE SAME YEAR.
I still have yet to see the one that I heard was good, apparently. THAT one has a silhouette of a bird/plague doctor type thing on the cover. Learn from my mistake. Don't be me.
