The Eternals is an overstuffed, overlong movie, full of great ideas and visuals, thrown in a blender and served cold. In hindsight it's a real shame it wasn't made as a TV series.
In just 8 episodes, we would have had time get to know each of the many characters, and how they relate to each other. We could have seen their relationships shift and fragment over time, instead of getting an exposition dump and a video slideshow of it all in the prologue.

@cobalt Nice! I just got back home from seeing it and while I wouldn’t say that it’s quite good, it’s kinda enjoyable and certainly better than movies like #ThorLoveAndThunder, #CaptainMarvel, #TheEternals and maybe even #DoctorStrangeMultiverseOfMadness. It’s nowhere as bad as many reviewers are saying.
All that said, it’s actually not hard to see a movie in a nearly-empty theater. I think it’s partially due to people not going to theaters as much as they used to, but also partially due to the fact that #Disney (and now others) buy out a tons of showings, so the people who wanna see the movie end up getting spread out rather than being smushed into one crowded showing. A good example of this is that there were about ten people in the theater when I went to see #DoctorStrangeMultiverseOfMadness in its second week, yet I got to see #SoundOfFreedom in it’s like 10th week in an absolutely packed house.

But if you wanna see a movie in an emptier theater, usually fewer people will be there in the 4th week and beyond, so when a film is nearing the end of its theatrical run could be the perfect time for y’all to go see whatever movie you guys want!
