A month after the Potomac spill, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, which is responsible for oversight of DC Water, has yet to get involved in any meaningful way. The Potomac wake-up call should spark action to fund the major, ongoing investments needed to modernize wastewater systems across the nation.
