2026 is off to a promising start in terms of #fantasy. So far, I like #TheTaintedCup, which at first glance mixes #SherlockHolmes with #AttackonTitan. I like the strange world and the fact that the reader is taken seriously so far, so no #TheDevils or adolescent #CriticalRole nonsense. #booksky

I don't know if I have a favourite #fantasy #book for 2025. But I know the worst one! I wanted to like #Abercrombie 's #TheDevils, the villains doing good exposition is still fine! Hell, this book was childish, full of crappy pseudo-jokes! I gave up! I don't care how many #bestoflists it appears on!
