あとエジソンvsテスラよりも、エジソンvsウェスティングハウスの方が映画のメインっぽい？🤔

＞俳優たちの協力もあって、監督は再撮影を敢行することができた。その際、監督はワインスタインに苦しめられた経験から着想を得たシーンを追加した。それはニコラ・テスラが狡猾なビジネスマンに騙されて特許を奪い取られるシーンである

＞ワインスタイン・カンパニーの作品として、2017年9月のトロント国際映画祭でお披露目された『ザ・カレント・ウォー（原題）』。同年11月24日の全米公開を予定していたが、共同創業者のハーヴェイ・ワインスタインが約30年にわたってセクハラと性的暴行を行ってきたと告発され、公開延期に。その後ワインスタイン・カンパニーは破産し、2018年7月にランタン・キャピタルに売却された。

あれ？　これ確か去年公開されたんじゃと思ったら、そんなことになってたとは。

＞ロントでのお披露目から2年の歳月を経て、“エジソンとウェスティングハウスの間で緊張感が増していく相応しいペースなど、欠けていた全てのものがある（監督談）”新バージョンが劇場公開されることに。ゴメス＝レホン監督の奇跡の逆転劇となった。

監督のやりたかったバージョンが公開されることになったのは不幸中の幸いですかね。
