I was just listening back to some gorgeous music that grabbed my heart the other night on "The Blue of the Night" (last 13 minutes here https://www.rte.ie/radio/lyricfm/blue-of-the-night/programmes/2022/1129/1339105-blue-of-the-night-tuesday-29-november-2022/) - Anton Batakov's interpretation of An Evening Hymn by #HenryPurcell . Interesting missing consonance at the end. I am wondering why Batakov did that. Any insights appreciated.
