Admit One DailyI really enjoyed the tense, claustrophobic underwater thriller side of The Abyss — all the stuff about pressure, personalities clashing, and things slowly going wrong. I’ve never loved the last 20 minutes though. Once it fully leans into the alien side of things, I could have done without all of that.
Those paying attention will notice that I went to see this the same day as Wilt. Quite a contrast.
