Just finished #TheWatch the inspires Discworld series they took an age to get off the ground and strayed very far from the source material. In the end it was good for what it was, something separate from Discworld, decent performances from the cast.

Confession, I just did a reply guy thing because someone said ACAB doesn't apply to Vimes and the Nightwatch

Even Chris is getting sick of Andy’s shtick by now. He doesn’t watch anything (Chris: “it’s called The Watch!”). He insists on doing twenty minutes of what he thinks is cutting edge comedic monologue at the beginning of every #podcast. Or fellating “industry” people. Chris is invariably like, permit me — let’s get to the review part of the show already.
Man, I can’t stand that guy. Chris — extremely likable, always self-aware. Andy — the most cloying, self-obsessed small fry in LA.
What does Andy Greenwald do on his #podcast? He’s not a tv critic because he doesn’t watch anything. The only thing that turns him on is “the industry” and himself. He finds himself inexhaustibly fascinating. He talks and talks in a way that he thinks is very funny and winning, and he even interrupts Chris in the 10% of the time when he (Chris — by far the more interesting of the two) is speaking. Unbearable.
