The comparison that Nordio makes of himself to a myth like Falcone is truly an insult to the institution. With a reference to the Red Brigades, which were dramatically involved in horrific crimes and didn’t even pluck a hair from the now public prosecutor Nordio’s, seeing politicians’ showmen appearing in Palermo on May 23rd, men and women of the institutions so distant from the giant human, ethical and professional profile of servants of the republic like Giovanni Falcone, defiling the image and life of those who made our country’s positive history, is truly unbearable. And among the hypocrites, the liars, and the scoundrels, we must not forget the toga traitors who, while magistrates like Falcone and Borsellino were working with their robes against the mafias risking their lives, left them alone and created the conditions for their death.

Let us never forget that Falcone and Borsellino, and unfortunately not only them, were also killed with the complicity of those who in the judiciary isolated them and, in some cases, created the actual conditions for the physical or professional end of judges unwelcome to the criminal power.

Il Fatto Quotidiano: Valditara contro tutti sullo strafalcione Br-Mattarella: “Bullismo mediatico per un lapsus banale, siamo caduti molto in basso”

“Il mio è stato un lapsus molto banale, c’è stato quel famoso bias di ancoraggio, quel trascinamento del pensiero. Sono rimasto francamente stupefatto del rilievo che qualche giornale ha voluto dare a questa dichiarazione. Evidentemente si è trattato di un caso di bullismo mediatico“. Sono le stizzite parole pronunciate dal ministro dell’Istruzione e del Merito Giuseppe Valditara nella trasmissione Il caffè della domenica, condotta da Maria Latella su Radio24. Il riferimento è alla sua gaffe, a margine di un incontro di campagna elettorale al cinema Partenio di Avellino, dove il ministro aveva ricordato “quella foto drammatica del presidente Sergio Mattarella che prendeva in braccio suo fratello Piersanti, assassinato dalle Brigate rosse, e lo tirava fuori dalla macchina”, confondendo l’omicidio di Piersanti Mattarella, ucciso dalla mafia nel 1980, con un attentato brigatista. Lo strafalcione è diventato virale e le ironie sui social si sono sprecate.
Il politico leghista aggiunge: “Se, anziché parlare dei successi dell’Italia, del crollo della dispersione scolastica, delle riforme che stanno garantendo prospettive occupazionali ai nostri giovani e competitività alle imprese, ci si riduce a parlare del lapsus del ministro in occasione dell’inaugurazione di una scuola, facendone un processo, francamente vuol dire che siamo scesi molto in basso“.
Poi la conclusione, tra fastidio e insofferenza: “Un ministro è un uomo e come tutti gli uomini può anche sbagliare. Siamo tutti uomini, non è che un ministro sia di ferro o di acciaio e quindi ha delle dinamiche psicologiche. Ma un conto è l’errore per ignoranza, un conto è il banale lapsus – chiosa – Non voglio neanche più sentire parlare di questa storia, non mi interessa fare polemiche, io lavoro per la scuola italiana, per i nostri giovani e se c’è chi ha del buon tempo da perdere e vuole polemizzare col ministro, faccia pure. In quella via, il suo corpo esanime venne ritrovato nel bagagliaio di una Renault 4 color rosso.
Presso il Senato della Repubblica si sono poi svolte le commemorazioni della giornata, iniziate con l'inno di Mameli cantato dal coro degli studenti del Liceo Statale 'Alessandro Manzoni' di Latina. La Russa ha messo in guardia sull'attualità del fenomeno terroristico, un pericolo "sempre in agguato", estendendo la riflessione "alle tante nuove insidie che corrono nel mondo digitale, dove prevalgono pericolosi linguaggi di odio e divisione". E ha aggiunto:" "Pericoli che non dobbiamo sottovalutare, perché il terrorismo non cerca solo il bersaglio umano. Il terrorismo cerca anche di avvelenare il pensiero e di trasformare le piazze in trincee di intolleranza: perché se il dissenso è un respiro di libertà, la violenza ne è la sua negazione piu' brutale". La cerimonia si è conclusa con l'esecuzione dell'Inno europeo da parte del coro degli studenti del Liceo statale "Alessandro Manzoni" di Latina.

Il Tempo: Terrorismo, inneggiavano alle Brigate Rosse: 6 indagati, c'è un minore

Su disposizione della Procura, la Digos ha eseguito una serie di perquisizioni nelle abitazioni di cinque persone residenti a Napoli e una a Firenze. I reati contestati sono di partecipazione a un'associazione - ispirata a Brigate Rosse e Nuove Brigate Rosse - finalizzata alla commissione di atti di violenza di carattere terroristico. Fra i partecipanti figurerebbe anche un minorenne.
Nel corso delle perquisizioni, gli agenti hanno sequestrato tutti i dispositivi informatici (cellulari, computer, tablet) trovati in possesso degli indagati. Secondo quanto emerso finora nel corso delle indagini, le attività di propaganda si svolgevano sul web, attraverso i social, dove venivano esaltate le gesta di terroristi come Nadia Desdemona Lioce, componente dell'organizzazione armata di estrema sinistra Nuove Brigate Rosse - Nuclei Comunisti Combattenti.
All'esterno del palazzo della Questura in via Medina, durante le attività di identificazione avvenute negli uffici, si è radunato un gruppo di sostenitori con le bandiere rosse del partito dei Carc.

(Adnkronos) - Dopo la spettacolare rapina a Napoli, nella sede del Crédit Agricole, in molti si sono chiesti perché il Gis, Gruppo di intervento speciale dei Carabinieri, specializzato in questo tipo di operazioni, abbia sede a Livorno e debba, in caso di emergenza, partire da lì.
Le ragioni sono principalmente storiche e operative, legate alla presenza del 1° Reggimento Carabinieri Paracadutisti "Tuscania" nella stessa città.
Il GIS fu costituito il 18 ottobre 1977 per volontà di Francesco Cossiga, all'epoca ministro dell'Interno, in piena emergenza terroristica. Erano gli anni in cui le Brigate Rosse moltiplicavano attacchi contro politici, magistrati e forze dell'ordine, con il picco massimo proprio tra il 1977 e il 1980. L'Italia non disponeva di un reparto specializzato nel contrasto al terrorismo e nella gestione di sequestri di persona con ostaggi.
Cossiga stabilì che il personale del nuovo reparto dovesse essere tratto dal Battaglione Carabinieri Paracadutisti "Tuscania", già stanziato a Livorno, perché considerato il più addestrato per interventi ad alto rischio, anche in presenza di ostaggi. Servivano uomini pronti a operazioni chirurgiche e ad alto rischio. Il modello operativo era quello delle forze speciali tedesche del GSG-9, create dopo la strage di Monaco del 1972.
Ancora oggi la selezione degli aspiranti GIS parte dal "Tuscania", e il reparto ha sede nella stessa caserma Vannucci di Livorno. Questo legame organico ha reso naturale mantenere la collocazione geografica nel tempo.
Il Gis è inquadrato nella 2ª Brigata Mobile Carabinieri e dipende per l'impiego dal Comando Generale dell'Arma. Per le operazioni all'estero, risponde invece al Cofs (Comando Interforze per le Operazioni delle Forze Speciali), con sede a Roma-Centocelle.

These were the years when the Red Brigades multiplied attacks against politicians, judges, and law enforcement, with the peak occurring between 1977 and 1980. Italy did not have a specialized unit in combating terrorism and managing hostage-taking situations.

Cossiga established that the personnel of the new unit should be drawn from the "Tuscania" Battalion of Carabinieri Paratroopers, already stationed in Livorno, as it was considered the most trained for high-risk interventions, even with hostages present. Men were needed ready for surgical operations and high-risk missions. The operational model was that of the German Special Forces’ GSG-9, created after the Munich massacre of 1972.

Even today, the selection of aspiring GIS personnel begins with the "Tuscania," and the unit is based in the same Vannucci barracks in Livorno. This organic link has made it natural to maintain the geographical location over time.

The GIS is part of the 2nd Mobile Carabinieri Brigade and is dependent on the General Command of the Armed Forces for deployment. For operations abroad, it instead responds to Cofs (Command Interforces for Operations of Special Forces), based in Rome-Centocelle.

He died in Padua, just a few hours before the 47th anniversary of the investigation (later largely dismantled) that pointed to a group of intellectuals and university professors as the leadership of the Red Brigades.
