I present for your entertainment this #8mm #film reel of "#TheNightBeforeChristmas" from #CastleFilms from 1946 that I digitized nearly 2 decades ago. Their 16mm print included an audio narration and music soundtrack, but the 8mm versions were silent, but featured subtitles instead. So I re-scored this version with a custom soundtrack many have described as haunting , but adds an intriguing feel to this old film. I hope you enjoy. #MerryChristmas.

Since 1911 the Church of the Intercession in Manhattan has held a service that includes the reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, followed by a procession to the tomb of Clement Clarke Moore at Trinity Cemetery the Sunday before Christmas.
