Rome, 32-year-old exploited and abused for days. Five men arrested.

AGI - It remained limited to three days in an abandoned building where, repeatedly, she would have been forced to undergo group sexual assaults under the threat of death. This is the scenario reconstructed by the investigators of the Roman State Police, who have identified and traced five men, currently under arrest for aggravated group sexual assault, with the aggravating factor being the exploitation of the victim’s diminished defense capacity. Eleven other individuals of extra-community origin, traced inside the same building, have been subject to expulsion orders and are currently detained at the Cpr facilities in Ponte Galeria, Palazzo San Gervasio and Bari.

The Police Reconstruction
According to reconstructions by the agents of the IV Section of the Mobile Squad, the 32-year-old Colombian victim had arrived in the Capital about ten days before the incident that originated the investigations. The young woman, during a evening spent at a restaurant on May 19th, was approached by a man outside the premises, who expressed the willingness to buy a dose of hashish. Convinced by him to follow him to conclude the delivery, she walked with him for 30 minutes, before reaching a van on which she was then forcibly loaded.

From that moment, the nightmare began: the woman, detained inside an abandoned building against her will, was forced to undergo repeated sexual assaults by multiple people. These individuals, identified in the five suspects, alternated over a period of 36 hours, in a context of domination and threats, aggravated by the alleged state of alteration induced by the administration of drugs to the victim, a circumstance which contributed to limiting her ability to react and preventing her from leaving. Only at the end of the third day, at the height of the latest violence she had suffered, the woman was able to escape, reaching the street, where, naked, she asked for help from a passerby, who then alerted the 112 emergency number.

Transported urgently to the Policlinico Casilino hospital, the victim was subjected to medical examinations that documented clear signs of violence, considered compatible with the hypothesis of “coercion,” as well as a state of alteration attributable to the intake of drugs.

The investigations, conducted by the investigators of the IV Section of the Mobile Squad, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Roman Court, began with the complaint made by the victim and the indications provided by her. After identifying the building considered the scene of the denounced violence, an investigative and operational device was immediately activated, involving the agents of the V Prenestino District, the Mobile Squad, the Scientific Police and the Immigration Office of the Police Headquarters.

The Mobile Squad Raid
The activity, developed according to a strategy of progressive perimeter and securing of the area, culminated in a raid inside the abandoned complex, aimed at both finding useful evidence for reconstructing the facts and identifying the mass of people who, to varying degrees, were gravitating within the structure. During the operations, 22 foreign nationals, irregular migrants on national territory, were identified and taken to the offices on Via Patini. Following the investigations, 11 of these were subject to expulsion orders, with a corresponding order for detention at the Cpr facilities in Ponte Galeria, Palazzo San Gervasio and Bari. Among the people identified were also the five men subsequently recognized by the victim, during a photographic identification, as the authors of the violence she suffered during the three days of segregation.

Ongoing Updates
Further investigations are still underway to fully define all the profiles of responsibility that emerged during the investigation, including those linked to the hypotheses of deprivation of liberty and the theft of the victim’s personal belongings, who was deprived of her identity documents and mobile phone.

Agi: Ebola, un medico rientra in Italia dopo un contatto diretto. "In quarantena allo Spallanzani"

AGI - Epidemia di ebola nella Repubblica Democratica del Congo, il contatto con pazienti positivi al virus e il rientro in sicurezza in Italia per un medico chirurgo. Poi la quarantena allo Spallanzani di Roma. Il Ministero della Salute informa che è in corso l'attività per il rientro in totale sicurezza di un medico chirurgo donna che operava presso il centro di salute di Salamat (Bunia-Ituri), nella Repubblica Democratica del Congo, nel periodo in cui è stata dichiarata l’attuale epidemia di Ebola.
Ebola, rientra in Italia il chirurgo di Medici Senza Frontiere 
L'autorizzazione per il rientro su Roma è stata firmata. Il chirurgo è un operatore di Medici Senza Frontiere. Nell’ambito della sua attività clinica il chirurgo è entrato in contatto, il 16 maggio scorso, con pazienti risultati poi positivi. Si tratta, quindi, di un caso di contatto diretto.
Il medico sarà portato oggi allo Spallanzani di Roma 
Il medico ha anche eseguito un intervento chirurgico salvavita d'urgenza, il 18 maggio, su un bambino vittima dell'esplosione di una granata. Il bambino è un caso sospetto di Ebola il cui test non è ancora disponibile. Il medico non presenta sintomi al momento. Il medico in rientro arriverà a Roma in giornata. Sarà portato allo Spallanzani di Roma per la necessaria quarantena e la sorveglianza attiva.
In Italia non ci sono casi di ebola 
Il Ministero della Salute ricorda che non ci sono casi di Ebola al momento in Italia e che l'allarme è molto basso nel nostro Paese. Il Ministero è attivo sin dal primo momento per tutte le attività di preparazione e sorveglianza e sta proseguendo il monitoraggio dell'evoluzione del quadro epidemiologico in raccordo con i territori e con le autorità sanitarie nazionali e locali.
La Farnesina: "1,1 milioni di euro per aiuti umanitari"
Per sostenere la risposta umanitaria immediata all'epidemia di ebola nella Repubblica Democratica del Congo, la cooperazione italiana ha assegnato un finanziamento di 1.150.000 euro. Un contributo deciso dal ministro degli Esteri Antonio Tajani, che ha disposto il finanziamento con un provvedimento firmato dal vice ministro Edmondo Cirielli. Lo riferisce la Farnesina in una nota.
Il finanziamento sarà messo a disposizione delle organizzazioni della società civile italiane con una presenza operativa nelle province colpite di Ituri, Nord Kivu e Sud Kivu.
Si tratta di interventi immediati per arrestare la trasmissione dell’Ebola, rafforzare la sorveglianza epidemiologica, la risposta del sistema sanitario locale e la fiducia delle comunità verso le misure di contenimento indicate dall’Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità.
Le risorse si concentreranno su quattro aree prioritarie identificate dalle agenzie delle Nazioni Unite Ocha e Oms per la prevenzione e controllo delle infezioni; sorveglianza epidemiologica e tracciamento dei contatti; soccorsi sanitari immediati e coinvolgimento comunitario.
Iniziative umanitarie già in corso
Tale finanziamento si aggiunge a due iniziative umanitarie in corso finanziate dalla Cooperazione italiana per un valore complessivo di 5,5 milioni di euro per cinque progetti realizzati dalla società civile nelle province orientali.
Sostegno diretto all’Oms
La Cooperazione italiana contribuirà, inoltre, direttamente con un sostegno di 290 mila euro all’azione di risposta alla crisi messa in campo dall’Organizzazione mondiale della sanità.

L'Unità: Omicidio di Sako Bakari a Taranto, fermato un 22enne sesto membro della baby gang che ha ucciso il bracciante

Un sesto fermo e la probabile chiusura del cerchio nell’inchiesta sull’omicidio di Sako Bakari, il 35enne maliano ucciso all’alba di sabato 9 maggio a Taranto da un branco di ragazzini e due maggiorenni.
La Squadra mobile ha individuato e fermato il sesto presunto componente della baby gang coinvolta nell’aggressione mortale ai danni del bracciante agricolo ammazzato a calci e pugni, e poi con tre coltellate, in piazza Fontana a Taranto.
Secondo quanto si è appreso, il sesto fermato è un giovane di 22 anni, il secondo maggiore del gruppo e anch’egli residente nel centro storico del capoluogo ionico. Nei giorni scorsi erano già stati fermati, su disposizione della procuratrice Eugenia Pontassuglia e della sostituta Paola Ranieri, altri cinque giovanissimi: il 20enne Fabio Sale e quattro minorenni di età compresa tra i 15 e i 16 anni, che rispondo dell’accusa di omicidio aggravato dai futili motivi.
Secondo quanto emerge dagli atti dell’inchiesta, già nei precedenti decreti di fermo si faceva riferimento a “un sesto individuo che in quel momento era ai tavolini del bar”, accusato di aver colpito la vittima con un pugno durante il pestaggio.
Per Sale è previsto oggi l’interrogatorio davanti al gip di Taranto Gabriele Antonaci, mentre domani sarà la volta dei quattro minori, che compariranno davanti al gip Paola Morelli.
Non è escluso che a fare da sfondo all’omicidio del 35enne maliano non subentrino altre aggravanti, compreso l’odio razziale. D’altra parte Bakari non era stato l’unico “straniero” preso di mira dalla baby gang all’alba del 9 maggio: prima di lui alcune telecamere avevano ripreso parte del gruppo infastidire un altro immigrato, con due dei cinque fermati filmati pochi minuti prima dell’aggressione mortale ai danni di Sako mentre a bordo di uno scooter eseguivano manovre pericolose attorno a un uomo di origine subsahariana con “intento di intimorirlo” e aggredendolo verbalmente.

According to what has emerged, the sixth suspect arrested is a 22-year-old young man, the second oldest in the group and also residing in the historic center of the Ionic capital. In the past few days, five other very young people had already been arrested, at the order of prosecutors Eugenia Pontassuglia and Paola Ranieri, including a 20-year-old, Fabio Sale, and four minors aged between 15 and 16 years old, who are accused of aggravated murder with trivial motives.

According to the investigation documents, references to “a sixth individual who at that moment was at the bar tables” had already been made in previous arrest warrants, accused of striking the victim with a punch during the assault.

An interrogation of Sale before judge Gabriele Antonaci in Taranto is scheduled for today, while tomorrow it will be the turn of the four minors, who will appear before judge Paola Morelli.

It is not ruled out that other aggravating factors, including racial hatred, may have formed the backdrop to the murder of the 35-year-old Malian man. Bakari was not the only “foreigner” targeted by the “baby gang” at dawn on May 9th: before him, cameras had captured part of the group harassing another immigrant, with two of the five arrested filmed just minutes before the fatal attack on Sako while on a scooter they were performing dangerous maneuvers around a man of Sub-Saharan origin with “the intent to intimidate” him and verbally assaulting him.

L'Unità: Accerchiato e aggredito dal branco: ucciso in strada il bracciante Sacko Bakari, dei 5 fermati 4 sono minorenni

Sono giovanissimi, quattro minorenni e un maggiorenne, i fermati per l’omicidio di Sacko Bakari. Sospettato di aver sferrato i colpi mortali con un corpo contundente, un cacciavite o un punteruolo, un ragazzo di 15 anni del gruppo di ragazzi fermato a Taranto. Si cerca ancora un quinto ragazzino, che risulta al momento in fuga. Le indagini della Squadra Mobile della Questura di Taranto, coordinate dalla sostituta procuratrice Francesca Paola Ranieri e dalla procura presso il tribunale per i minorenni di Bari, hanno portato ai provvedimenti in poche ore.
Le immagini subito precedenti all’aggressione sono state pubblicate dal Tg1. Bakari era un bracciante, sabato scorso era arrivato in bici in piazza Fontana. Originario del Mali, era arrivato a Taranto nel 2022 per raggiungere il fratello, che nel frattempo però si era trasferito in Spagna. Aveva lavorato per alcuni anni come cameriere, negli ultimi tempi faceva il bracciante nella zona di Massafra. Stava per diventare padre.
Era arrivato nella città vecchia per prendere un caffè prima di andare a lavoro, di solito lasciava la bicicletta alla stazione e prendeva un mezzo che lo portava nei campi. Avrebbe incrociato un gruppo di ragazzini, sarebbe stato accerchiato e aggredito. Sarebbe stato colpito all’addome e al torace, ripetutamente. Non ha avuto scampo. L’aggressione sarebbe stata ripresa dalle telecamere di videosorveglianza della zona. Si è risaliti ai ragazzini grazie alle testimonianze e agli indumenti indossati dai giovani prima e dopo il delitto.
Sakari è stato lasciato a terra, in agonia, ha provato a fuggire ma è stato inseguito e ancora colpito, a calci e pugni, e con l’arma che non è stata ancora rinvenuta. Due dei minorenni, che hanno tutti tra i 15 e i 16 anni, fermati sono stati tradotti negli istituti penali per minorenni di Bari e Lecce. Ai sospettati del branco vengono contestati il concorso in omicidio aggravato e ulteriori aggravanti legate ai motivi futili e alle modalità dell’aggressione. Il fratello della vittima è arrivato ieri mattina dalla Spagna, l’ong Mediterranea Saving Humans si occuperà di rimpatriare la salma quando il trasferimento sarà autorizzato.

Four minors and one adult were arrested in connection with the murder of Sacko Bakari. Suspected of inflicting the fatal blows with a blunt object – a hammer, screwdriver, or chisel – a 15-year-old boy from a group of teenagers was arrested in Taranto. A fifth teenager is still being sought, and is currently at large. Investigations by the Mobile Squad of the Taranto Police, coordinated by Substitute Prosecutor Francesca Paola Ranieri and the prosecution at the juvenile court in Bari, led to arrests within a few hours.

Images taken immediately before the attack were published by Tg1. Bakari was a farmworker; last Saturday, he arrived by bike in Piazza Fontana. Originally from Mali, he had arrived in Taranto in 2022 to join his brother, who had meanwhile moved to Spain. He had worked for several years as a waiter, and recently he worked as a farmworker in the Massafra area. He was about to become a father.

He had arrived in the old town to have a coffee before going to work; he usually left his bicycle at the station and took a bus that took him to the fields. He would have encountered a group of teenagers, he was surrounded and attacked. He was repeatedly struck in the abdomen and chest. He did not survive. The attack was filmed by the surveillance cameras in the area. The teenagers were identified thanks to witness testimonies and the clothes worn by the young people before and after the crime.

Bakari was left on the ground, in agony, he tried to escape but was pursued and struck again, with kicks and punches, and with the weapon, which has not yet been found. Two of the minors, all between 15 and 16 years old, were arrested and transferred to the juvenile detention centers in Bari and Lecce. The suspects of the group are charged with aggravated murder and further charges related to the futile and abusive nature of the attack. The victim’s brother arrived yesterday morning from Spain; the NGO Mediterranea Saving Humans will take care of repatriating the body when the transfer is authorized.

Tre omicidi, due tentati omicidi e numerosi casi di estorsione. Con queste accuse la Squadra Mobile di Foggia, coordinata dalla Direzione distrettuale antimafia di Bari, dalla Procura di Foggia e dalla Direzione nazionale antimafia e antiterrorismo, ha eseguito 18 misure cautelari nei confronti di soggetti accusati, a vario titolo, di estorsione aggravata dal metodo mafioso ai danni di imprenditori locali.
Una maxi operazione nel corso della quale sono state effettuate numerose perquisizioni e disposti anche controlli straordinari del territorio. Secondo quanto riferito dagli inquirenti, le condotte contestate sarebbero state finalizzate ad agevolare la cosiddetta mafia foggiana e le sue batterie criminali.

Si tratta di un’inchiesta particolarmente delicata nell’ambito della quale la Sisco di Bari e la Squadra Mobile di Foggia hanno arrestato anche altri due presunti esponenti di vertice della mafia garganica, ritenuti coinvolti nel duplice omicidio di Nicola Ferrelli e Antonio Petrella, avvenuto ad Apricena il 20 giugno 2017.
Gli investigatori considerano quel delitto uno degli episodi più efferati della lunga scia di sangue che ha segnato la guerra tra clan sul Gargano. Ma non è tutto. Parallelamente, gli agenti hanno fermato anche il presunto responsabile dell’omicidio di Stefano Bruno e del tentato omicidio di Saverio e Pasquale Bruno, avvenuti a Foggia lo scorso 29 aprile.

Il Fatto Quotidiano: Bracciante ucciso con un cacciavite da un gruppo di giovani: Sako Bakari aveva 35 anni e stava andando a lavorare

Stava andando a lavorare in campagna alle prime luci dell’alba di sabato mattina in sella alla sua bicicletta quando è stato aggredito e ucciso da un gruppo di giovani: è morto così Sako Bakari, un 35enne originario del Mali, colpito mortalmente all’addome in piazza Fontana a Taranto. Secondo le prime ricostruzioni, era scoppiata una lite tra l’uomo – regolare sul territorio italiano e senza precedenti di polizia – e un gruppo di giovani del posto, forse minorenni, nella zona di Porta Napoli-porto mercantile. Poi all’improvviso i colpi all’addome con un cacciavite che non hanno dato scampo al 35enne che in quel momento stava andando nelle campagne di Massafra per iniziare il suo turno lavorativo.
I giovani non sono stati ancora identificati ma la Squadra mobile, con il coordinamento del pm Francesca Paola Ranieri, stanno visionando le immagini delle telecamere di videosorveglianza presenti nella zona. Nella ricerca di tutti gli elementi utili, resta da trovare anche l’arma del delitto.
Intanto si è espressa sulla vicenda l’associazione Babele – ente di promozione sociale – che ha scritto un post su Facebook: “Un giovane lavoratore ucciso mentre aspettava di andare in campagna a guadagnare pochi soldi. Non uno straniero, ma un uomo con un nome e cognome, un lavoratore, incensurato, irreprensibile, che pagava tasse, affitto, e che manteneva la sua famiglia. Ucciso senza motivo. Ci auguriamo che i responsabili siano individuati al più presto. Ci uniamo al dolore della famiglia e degli amici”.
Parole di condanna anche da parte del presidente del Consiglio comunale di Taranto, Gianni Liviano: “La tragica uccisione di Bakari Sako ci colpisce profondamente e scuote la coscienza della nostra comunità. Sento il dovere di esprimere una ferma condanna verso ogni forma di violenza, odio, sopraffazione e disprezzo della vita umana. Nessuna periferia sociale, nessun disagio, nessuna rabbia può trasformarsi in giustificazione della violenza. La comunità che vogliamo costruire è un’altra cosa. È una comunità fondata sul rispetto della persona, sulla solidarietà, sull’accoglienza e sulla convivenza civile”.

Un totale di 21 misure cautelari, 18 per estorsione e tre per omicidio e tentato omicidio. All’alba di lunedì, la Squadra mobile della Questura di Foggia e la Sezione investigativa del Servizio centrale operativo (Sisco) di Bari hanno arrestato due esponenti di spicco della mafia garganica per il brutale ed efferato duplice omicidio di Nicola Ferrelli e Antonio Petrella, avvenuto ad Apricena il 20 giugno 2017. Fermato dalla Squadra mobile e dal Nucleo investigativo dei Carabinieri anche il presunto autore dell’omicidio di Stefano Bruno, 33 anni, e del duplice tentato omicidio del padre Pasquale, sessant’anni, e del fratello Saverio, trent’anni, avvenuti alla periferia della città il 29 aprile scorso: si tratta di Giuseppe Robustella, 43 anni, di Manfredonia.
Altre 18 misure cautelari, comunicano le forze dell’ordine, sono state eseguite “per molteplici episodi estorsivi ai danni di imprenditori foggiani, realizzati con metodo mafioso e al fine di agevolare la mafia foggiana e le sue batterie”. Effettuata anche una “vasta attività di perquisizioni e controllo del territorio”. L’operazione è stata coordinata dalla Direzione distrettuale antimafia di Bari e dalla Procura di Foggia con il coordinamento della Direzione nazionale antimafia: alle 10:30 si terrà in Procura a Foggia una conferenza stampa con la partecipazione del procuratore nazionale antimafia Giovanni Melillo.

Un ragazzo di 16 anni si è costituito nella notte alla questura di Palermo dopo la morte di un uomo di 69 anni, avvenuta nel quartiere Villaggio Santa Rosalia. Sull’episodio indaga la Squadra mobile, coordinata dalla procura per i minorenni.
Secondo una prima ricostruzione, il delitto sarebbe avvenuto all’interno dell’abitazione della vittima, Pietro De Luca, in via Buonpensiero. Il giovane avrebbe colpito l’uomo alla testa con un oggetto contundente. Quando gli agenti sono intervenuti nell’appartamento, hanno trovato il corpo senza vita con gravi traumi cranici.
Il ragazzo si è presentato spontaneamente in questura intorno alla mezzanotte, riferendo di aver reagito a presunte avances a sfondo sessuale da parte dell’uomo, suo vicino di casa. Gli inquirenti stanno verificando la sua versione e lavorano per chiarire il movente e l’esatta dinamica dei fatti.
L’abitazione si trova in una zona periferica e isolata, nei pressi delle rive del fiume Oreto, immersa nel verde e raggiungibile attraverso una stradina privata. Nell’area sono presenti anche strutture rurali come stalle e pollai.
Sul posto è intervenuta la polizia scientifica per i rilievi. Le indagini proseguono per ricostruire con precisione quanto accaduto e stabilire eventuali responsabilità.

Agi: Sparatoria a Barivecchia, ferita una donna di 85 anni

AGI - Spari nel borgo antico di Bari. Caschi integrali, pistole in pugno e almeno sei colpi esplosi da due armi diverse: è il bilancio dell’agguato avvenuto ieri sera a Barivecchia, in via Pier l’Eremita, dove una donna di 85 anni è rimasta ferita di striscio alla fronte.
La sparatoria nel borgo antico di Bari 
Secondo quanto ricostruito dagli investigatori, intorno alle 22 alcuni uomini travisati, in sella a scooter, hanno aperto il fuoco contro l’abitazione di una persona nota alle forze dell’ordine. I proiettili, almeno sei, hanno colpito l’immobile mentre all’interno si trovavano più persone. Uno di questi ha ferito di striscio alla fronte l’anziana, rimasta coinvolta nell’azione.
La fuga tra i vicoli di Bari 
Dopo aver esploso i colpi, i responsabili si sono dileguati tra le viuzze della città vecchia, facendo perdere le proprie tracce. Per la donna non è stato necessario il ricovero: all’arrivo del personale sanitario del 118 è stata medicata sul posto.

L'intervento della polizia 
Sul luogo dell’agguato sono intervenuti gli agenti della Squadra Mobile e della Polizia Scientifica, che hanno recuperato quattro bossoli di diverso calibro. Sono in corso accertamenti tecnici e analisi delle immagini dei sistemi di videosorveglianza della zona per identificare i responsabili.
Tensione in città 
L’episodio si inserisce in un contesto di tensione crescente. Negli ultimi giorni, tra il 9 e il 19 aprile, si sono registrati tre ferimenti con arma da fuoco ai danni di giovani colpiti alle gambe in diversi quartieri della città, tra Carrassi, Libertà e il centro.
I precedenti agguati 
A questi si aggiunge l’omicidio del 43enne Filippo Scavo, ucciso all’interno della discoteca Divinae Follie di Bisceglie in un agguato su cui indaga la Direzione distrettuale antimafia.
Quello avvenuto ieri sera è il quarto episodio in pochi giorni e il secondo nel cuore della città vecchia, dove il 20 aprile un 21enne era stato ferito a colpi d’arma da fuoco in largo Ospedale Civile.
Elementi che alimentano l’attenzione degli investigatori su possibili collegamenti tra i diversi fatti, anche se al momento non emergono conferme ufficiali. Le indagini proseguono per ricostruire la dinamica dell’agguato e individuare i responsabili.
