For years I’ve voted based on “not who I really want, but they stand a chance against someone I think would be worse”.

I still think that is a sensible way to approach things, but I have to say I’m super thankful that the Green Party are becoming the clear choice, even if you don’t agree with everything they have to say.

Politics is a bus, not a taxi, pick the one that gets you closest to the world you want.

I've joined #TheGreenParty having given up on #YourParty and rejected the new Tories (#KierStarmer's #UKLabour).

I hope they will set up a #Mastodon presence (not a bridge with no interaction - engagement is key and is much better here than any other platform).

Mastodon is also better aligned with @ZackPolanski's welcome campaign against #Palantir which I hope will grow to standing up to Big Tech more broadly.
