I am unreasonably excited for it to be black bin bags day tomorrow. The final rubbish from #theGreat2024Move is a half dozen bags just waiting for their place on the curb π₯³
Then just a bookcase and a TV stand to build and we're finally down to... just the list of stuff to get done around the house that existed *before* the move. π€¦ββοΈπ
But this time I have my @bibliollama here, and that's definitely made it all worthwhile. π
It's annoyingly counterintuitive that to make everything tesselate well into the flat, we end up needing to buy *more* furniture.
At least we're both good at that on a budget, though it's doubly annoying that it's *very specific* bits of furniture needed!
This week is a struggle. I am sad because I so want to do #inktober2024, but at the current rate I'm not going to be in the headspace or have the spoons. π£
We knew I was going to crash after #theGreat2024Move was done. It's the way it is when living with #chronicFatigue and #burnout. What I somehow hadn't factored in was the #autisticMeltdown because my safe space is *different* and *cluttered* and things *don't have a place*. ππ
Doing art may help, but a challenge is gonna be too much. π

The kitchen no longer makes me twitch just looking at it. Still a pile of dishes to hand wash, but the dishwasher is handling everything it could and the counters are actually clear.
We might actually defeat this house move raid this week like I'd like to!
I am exhausted and yet awake. The overwhelm is real and I finally had a real crash moment today, but we have unpacked so much in a week!
Even played a little #GuildWars2 tonight. Not quite able to dive into #WorldofWarcraft again but the #RWF is giving me my fix.
This next week is going to be a lot of smaller putting-shit-away projects, but then we might - *might* be about there. Then @bibliollama says I can have the rest of the month off to collapse. π

Unpacked another bag. Person is here doing a new energy efficiency certificate because apparently we need one when someone new moves in?

Then I think I'm going back under the #weightedblankets until my alarm goes off to go Out In The World. π’
The only downside to #weightedBlankets is when it's already warm π«
But I have done a *lot* today and I need a bit of weighted-down time before I finish up. Really think I might have cracked the back of the unpacking though π₯³
- play Grand Master level #furnitureTetris with shelving and seating in the kitchen to fit things in and reach the dishwasher;
- unpack what's *hopefully* the last of the kitchen;
- watch a goodly/ungodly amount of #RacetoWorldFirst coverage;
- actually put the dishwasher on;
- maybe manage to set up my @mastodon.art account.
Stretch goal is defeat more of the book boxes or the DVDs.
