I deputati di FdI hanno indossato delle mascherine nell’Aula della Camera, come forma di protesta provocatoria contro il leader del M5s Giuseppe Conte, tirato in ballo per la gestione Covid dopo le ultime audizioni in commissione. La deputata meloniana Alice Buonguerrieri ha parlato del leader M5s come di un “mentitore seriale inaffidabile e inattendibile. Se Conte ha mentito su questo su cosa dobbiamo attenderci che abbia mentito ancora? Di cosa ha paura?”, ha affermato dopo aver chiesto una informativa al ministro della Salute. Successivamente, è intervenuto proprio il presidente del Movimento 5 stelle: “Mi associo alla richiesta di informativa perché qui abbiamo agito sempre in trasparenza e non abbiamo nulla da nascondere. Ho scritto una lettera ai presidenti di Camera e Senato e in un intervento ormai datato alla Commissione Covid, risalente al 2024, ho informato il presidente Lisei che ero desideroso di fornire il mio specifico contributo all’accertamento dei fatti riguardanti la gestione dell’emergenza sanitaria. Mi sono”, dunque, “reso disponibile ad essere audito come parte molto informata, ma purtroppo non ho avuto risposta”.
Di contro, “addirittura mi vogliono far dimettere, non vogliono che eserciti le mie prerogative parlamentari – ha detto rivolto ai parlamentari di FdI -. Peggio avete fatto quando avete fatto la norma per cacciare Scarpinato e De Raho dalla commissione antimafia”. Poi, in riferimento alle accuse della deputata meloniana, Conte ha aggiunto: “Se ha tanto coraggio, rinunciate all’immunità così ci vediamo in Tribunale“.
