Agi: L'auto precipita in un dirupo, morti due giovani fidanzati nel Salernitano

AGI - Una coppia di fidanzati, lui 29 e lei 25 anni, ha perso la vita in un incidente stradale avvenuto nella tarda serata di ieri in località Ripe Rosse a Montecorice, comune del Cilento costiero in provincia di Salerno. Michele Pirozzi e Maria Magliocco, entrambi di Capaccio Paestum,  erano a bordo di una vettura che, dopo l'impatto con un furgone, è finita oltre il guardrail, precipitando in una scarpata a picco sul mare per diverse decine di metri e finendo sugli scogli. I due occupanti sarebbero stati sbalzati fuori dall'abitacolo.
Due fidanzati morti nell'incidente 
Gli accertamenti sulla dinamica dell'incidente sono svolti dai carabinieri di Agropoli. Secondo una prima ricostruzione, la vettura con a bordo i due fidanzati, è precipitata per circa 200 metri. La vettura ha impattato contro un altro mezzo per poi uscire di strada e precipitare giù dalla scarpata.
La dinamica dell'incidente 
I corpi dei due fidanzati  sono stati sbalzati fuori dall'abitacolo durante il volo. Sul posto sono intervenuti i vigili del fuoco con squadre di terra, soccorritori fluviali e sommozzatori. L'auto, individuata dalla Guardia Costiera, sarà recuperata a breve. Sul posto il 118 anche con l'elisoccorso e i carabinieri. Il conducente dell'altro mezzo, lievemente ferito, è stato affidato alle cure dei sanitari.
Il cordoglio del sindaco per la scomparsa dei due fidanzati 
Il Comune di Capaccio Paestum esprime "il suo profondo cordoglio ai familiari e agli amici di Michele Pirozzi e Maria Magliocco, giovani nostri concittadini che, questa notte, hanno perso la vita in un incidente stradale a Montecorice". "Questa tragedia - afferma il sindaco Gaetano Paolino - scuote l'intera nostra comunità. Nel giorno dei funerali, con apposita ordinanza sindacale, sarà osservato un minuto di raccoglimento in tutti gli uffici comunali e nelle scuole del territorio".

A devastating road accident has claimed the lives of a couple, aged 29 and 25, in Montecorice, a coastal town in the Cilento region of Salerno province. Michele Pirozzi and Maria Magliocco, both from Capaccio Paestum, were in a vehicle that, after colliding with a van, went over the guardrail and plunged down a cliff face overlooking the sea for several dozen meters, ultimately crashing onto the rocks. The two occupants were reportedly ejected from the vehicle.

Two Lovers Die in the Accident

Investigations into the accident’s dynamics are being carried out by the Carabinieri of Agropoli. According to an initial reconstruction, the vehicle carrying the two lovers traveled approximately 200 meters before crashing into another vehicle and then falling off the cliff.

The bodies of the two lovers were ejected from the vehicle during the flight. Firefighters, along with ground teams, river rescue teams and divers, responded to the scene. The Coast Guard identified the vehicle, and it will be recovered shortly. The 118 emergency service also responded, including helicopter assistance and Carabinieri. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The Municipality of Capaccio Paestum expresses “its deepest condolences to the families and friends of Michele Pirozzi and Maria Magliocco, our young citizens who, this night, lost their lives in a road accident in Montecorice.” “This tragedy – says Mayor Gaetano Paolino – shakes our entire community. On the day of the funerals, with a special mayoral order, a minute of silence will be observed in all municipal offices and schools in the area.”

Il Fatto Quotidiano: Rete “fantasma” da 300 metri abbandonata sui fondali di Ischia, il video del recupero della Guardia costiera

Una complessa operazione di tutela ambientale è stata portata a termine al largo di Ischia, dove la nave CP 920 Gregoretti della Guardia Costiera ha recuperato una rete fantasma lunga circa 300 metri individuata nei mesi scorsi sui fondali dallo staff dell’Area Marina Protetta Regno di Nettuno. L’intervento, eseguito nelle giornate dell’11 e 12 marzo, ha visto impegnato anche il nucleo subacqueo della Guardia Costiera, in collaborazione con il Reparto Ambientale Marino del ministero dell’Ambiente e con l’Ispra.
La rete recuperata è una rete da circuizione, attrezzo utilizzato nella pesca industriale per circondare interi banchi di pesce. Rimasta abbandonata sui fondali, continuava a rappresentare un rischio per la fauna marina e per l’equilibrio dell’ecosistema. L’operazione rientra nelle attività di monitoraggio e tutela dell’ambiente marino finalizzate alla rimozione dei rifiuti da pesca e alla salvaguardia della biodiversità nei tratti di mare protetti.

A complex environmental protection operation was completed off the coast of Ischia, where the Coast Guard vessel CP 920 Gregoretti recovered a ghost net – approximately 300 meters long – identified in the seabed in the previous months by the staff of the Protected Marine Area of Regno di Nettuno. The operation, carried out on March 11th and 12th, also involved the Coast Guard’s underwater team, in collaboration with the Marine Environmental Department of the Ministry of Environment and Ispra.

The recovered net is a encirclement net, a tool used in industrial fishing to surround entire shoals of fish. Having been abandoned on the seabed, it continued to pose a risk to marine life and to the balance of the ecosystem. The operation falls within the monitoring and protection activities of the marine environment aimed at removing fishing waste and safeguarding biodiversity in protected marine areas.
