Interessant... Es gibt einen Fork von Ice Menu Bar Manager namens Thaw.
Dieser funktioniert genauso wie Ice, aber ohne Abstürze und kuriose Fehler. Und die Standardfunktionen sind genauso gut wie bei Bartender.
Werde ich mal etwas länger ausprobieren.
