Roughly two years ago I upgraded from pdflatex to lualatex and I'm still fascinated that a program that, in some ways, is stuck in the 1970s is now able to deal with fancy unicode emoji right in a document's source code.

Auf der Suche nach dem #TeXLaTeX-Template bei einem wissenschaftlichen Journal stolper ich gerade über die Bitte, Manuskripte doch in *dreifacher Ausführung* einzureichen.

Also Schreibmaschine.

Elektronische Dokumente sind von Beginn an möglich, aber erst für akzeptierte Arbeiten notwendig.

Und dann auch nur „provided it can be prepared using one of the word-processing formats“ [TeX, LaTeX; Word, aber dann zusätzlich als RTF]. Die Dateien bitte per E-Mail oder Diskette …
