This is my Tevo Tarantula Pro, a Prusa i3/Ender 3 based bed-slinger. And there's not many like it.

It's an alright printer. Absolutely terrible when I first got it for my usage; I print mostly small parts and at the time Marlin didn't support mesh bed leveling. It was however the cheapest good DIY kit you could get at the time (2019-ish), costing me 200€ which I didn't really have.

Currently the upgrades are a BLTouch-clone Z-stop, and a magnetic bed plate (the old one had a tad too many "hotend crashing into the bed frame"-holes. Also got a brass 0.3mm hotend as a compromise between 0.4 and 0.25mm

It's so close to being a good printer tho, but it requires a few upgrades still. Right now I'm working on getting the extruder changed out, because just about any 5€ one you get from China will to better than the horrible plastic spring "tension" one stuck on the back.

It's also still using an 8-bit MKS GEN L controller, tho that's actually fine, even for small footprint stuff.
