So, apart from the ending being a crappy thing to happen for Trip and T'Pol's budding romance, from the blue ray extras I learned:
- it was very emotional for Connor to play the scene because his wife had just become pregnant, and he was thinking of his unborn child.
- Connor and Jolene couldn't stop cooing at the baby when the scene cut, because they thought the baby was so cute.

It's interesting that the anti-alien sentiment in this episode resembles so much of the nationalist sentiment sweeping many parts of the world today, but it is so damn politically easy to blame the ills of society on outsiders. 😖

Wait, so b/c the Guardian of Forever sent Emperor Georgiou back in time, instead of surviving Mirror Universe Michael Burnham's coup, both she and Michael die a few months later, but doesn't that change what Prime Michael and Discovery find when Lorca transports them to Mirror Universe in season 1?

In fact, how is Georgiou even still alive? I thought the premise of the original #StarTrekTOS episode was McCoy accidentally wiped out the Federation? 🤔😖
