Münster – China entwickelt sich immer schneller zum Motor für den globalen Ausbau der erneuerbaren Energien. Allein in den ersten sechs Monaten des Jahres 2025 wurden in China neue Solaranlagen mit einer Leistung von 210 GW (210.000 MW) neu errichtet. Das ist deutlich mehr als die gesamte installierte Solarleistung in den USA mit rund 178 GW (IRENA, 2024); Deutschland liegt Ende letzten Jahres bei 100 GW (MaStR, BNetzA).
