Syd Polk (he/his)#tenyearsago - 2015 - Working remotely for Mozilla in Austin. Kids started year in 3rd and 4th grades. Played a lot with Jumpstart. Job at Mozilla was not going well. Jade was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fortunately, we caught it early and she fully recovered. During her recovery, my gall bladder exploded, so for a while, we were both laid up. I had business meeting in Orlando in January, and family came out and we went to Disney World and Legoland.

Naturally I was delighted when it won the award for Projected Image of the Year but the gasps of surprise from members when I announced that it was photographed and edited entirely on my iPhone 4s were even more pleasing. It’s just another #photoOfTheDay #iPhoneOnly in my #archive now, but ten years ago it certainly ruffled a few feathers. 🐸
