Reached out to them, they clarified:
"We are a very small team and don't have a dedicated lawyer, and my answer might be incorrect. But from what I remember, it is there because we don't have the legal right to display your content on our domain. And any links like https://s3.tebi.io/YOUR_BUCKET/YOUR_FILE will be illegal. This part grants us a legal right to have links like that, and don't be afraid that someday someone will sue us."
Ok, this makes sense in a way. Still not liking the wording, though.
Reviewing their ToS, I find this worrysome:
"Our Service allows You to post Content. You are responsible for the Content that You post to the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.
By posting Content to the Service, You grant Us the right and license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content on and through the Service. You retain any and all of Your rights to any Content You submit, post or display on or through the Service and You are responsible for protecting those rights. You agree that this license includes the right for Us to make Your Content available to other users of the Service, who may also use Your Content subject to these Terms. "

Ada sejam-an setting CORS sama bucket permission ternyata salahnya cuma itu
ThomasI managed to get data synced by a GitHub Action to Tebi S3 compatible storage - despite the "help" from Microsoft #Copilot (not "thanks for nothing" but thanks for reinforcing my believe that "AI" is useless at best!) and bugs in the Python code of "aws-cli" (the old ways of getting help from the Internet still work).
I've learned a little bit about the trade by actually using the standards, and not just platform services that make "Cloud Computing" treacherously simple.

Є два стандарти SI і IEC. У першому стандарті є одиниці #kilo, #mega, #giga, #tera, #peta, #exa, #zetta і #yotta. Вони дорівнюють 10 ^ 3-24, кожний наступний збільшує степінь на три.
IEC стандарт має одиниці #kibi, #mebi, #gibi, #tebi, #pebi, #exbi, #zebi та #yobi. Вони дорівнюють 2 ^ 10-80, кожна степінь збільшується на десять.
Добре що хоч в одному байті вісім біт.
