This is kind of why I have sown the #Teasel: #Goldfinches. Was trimming the pollard willows and then I heard a less familiar sound. Yay, they are here! Funny how you miss many birds because they are not the usual suspects near the house (and I apparently do not get out enough...)
The goldfinches are shy enough to not get close to them. Also hard because the only way to get close is across the open field, sticking out like a sore thumb.
