I love buying second hand.
Our water boiler is 7 years old and I'm afraid it may break anytime, so I was looking for a replacement.
Found this brand new tea maker, with temperature control and tea holder for 20 Euro including shipping (others selling it between 50 and 80).

It works great and I had my first tea this morning.

@lsanoj: Das Problem kenne ich. Bin im dritten Anlauf bei einer #Teemaschine mit Siebaufzug (#Sage #TeaMaker) gelandet und seither happy damit: https://www.sageappliances.com/eu/de/products/tea/btm800.html

(Ist allerdings auch nicht gerade günstig. Ist aber besser und deutlich haltbarer als meine ersten beiden, deutlich günstigeren Teemaschinen von einer anderen Marke, die anscheinend eine #GeplanteObsoleszenz in Form von Sollbruchstellen eingebaut hatten.)
