Georgia has deported 25 participants of protests in Tbilisi, with 10 already expelled, according to The Insider. In November and December 2023, the Migration Department reported the expulsion of 91 citizens from various countries, including Iran, Algeria, India, Morocco, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Pakistan, Nigeria, Iraq, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Russia, and Turkmenistan. Some of the deported individuals took part in protests against parliamentary election results, halted European integration, and changes to the presidential election process, which now secures victory for the ruling “Georgian Dream” candidate. Twenty-five protesters were fined, and expulsion procedures have begun for them.
