This is what it looked like for kids when house music hit the mainstream in Norway. Colorful articles in a pop magazine,artists like Krush, S-Express & Yazz was given the same treatment as other big stars. I learned terms like sampling, 303, house party & drum machine. This acid compilation was one of the first records I played at the kids disco. Still have most of them 😄 The disco was quite the little rave back then. In a dingy bassment, dark, a few colored lights 🙂
Two years later in 1997, I started my Test Tones series of EPs. Test Tone I features the 303 quite a bit, on at least 3 tracks (Nynex, override, Gibson). Last album recorded in #montreal
