Hi all!! I got some fresh ink today (whoot!!!  ) and after we left, spouse & I were talking and I came up with a question I felt would be best asked here first..

Is it ever okay to ask a tattoo shop if they'd like the opportunity to work with you on commission if you are also an artist, but not in the realm of tattoos?

How I see something like this playing out: I show them my work. If they like any of the pieces, they can do any necessary polishing of the art, or even do it in their own personal style as a tattoo artist. Then I receive $10-15 commission any time a customer purchases that particular design... Sort of like a form of art licensing, but for tattoos rather than prints...
