Een pantserwagen kan bij beschietingen makkelijker worden uitgeschakeld dan een veel zwaardere tank. Een tank levert pas echt ‘stootkracht’.

For #TankTuesday - four stills from an IWM film showing the tanks of "Kingforce" in Libya, Oct 31 '42. The six tanks were sent for a battle trial which proved the toughness of their armour. Some great footage I don't remember seeing before!

Ad-hoc "forces" were generally named for the commanding officer - in this case Major N King of 2nd Royal Gloucester Hussars.
