Three weeks in Tallahassee. I am still coming down from a depression and anxiety low and high.
It been very dry. The TLH are is about 12" short on annual rainfall. Of course that could be erased by one tropical storm. No rain for the upcoming week and highs in the low 80's. A good guilt free sleep would be a blessing.

The brown speck on this leaf that looks like bird poop is a newly hatched larva of giant swallow tail butterfly. It's about 1/16" long. It will grow and molt 5 to 7 times before forming a chrysalis.

I'm not adjusting very well.
A little further on I drove right past the place we were looking for and didn't realize it until we came to the landmark that told us we've gone too far. (When the directions include the phrase "you can't miss it" I *can* miss it and usually do.)
