This bridge or not to bridge thing between #Bluesky and #Fediverse kinda reminds me the old days when I was like ~9-10 playing #MMORPG like #TalesOfPirates when rumours started flying that the admins are planning to merge or bridge together 16 islands (servers) into like 8 lol.

When it eventually did happen, man, the island racism/tribalism was real ​​

also i appreciate the irony of my mom worrying about my 1-2 year old nieces being given access to phones and tablets at such a young age, when i was already actively playing games like #FootballManager and online MMORPGs (mostly #TalesOfPirates) at roughly the same age.

i entered kindergarten a couple of months late at 5 and my mom was super worried i wouldn't be able to catch up. i ended up finished reading all the books others would have only started at 6 just a few months in. i remember my mom and teachers being shocked that i knew such "weird" words like catalogue, trade, apparel, and fusion lol.

i got scammed a few times too playing online that young lmao.
