Noch ärgerlicher ist es, daß man für Wero ein #Smartphone mit Android (Google) oder iOS (Apple) benötigt. Mit dem Linux-PC oder Linux-Smartphone (#Mobian, #PostmarketOS, …) kann man Wero bislang nicht nutzen. Für mich leider #deadOnArrival.
Hoffentlich kommt der #TALER bald in Fahrt. Der hat diesen Nachteil nicht. Ansonsten: #Bargeld und #SEPA-Überweisung.
Eine Bank, die mich zum Anlegen eines Google- (oder Apple-) Accounts - samt nicht deaktivierbarem Tracking meiner Nutzungsgewohnheiten, Standort und WLANs - nötigt, bekommt mein Vertrauen nicht.
Ich hoffe zwar auch noch auf #Taler

I am continuing to add support for Taler.
Here is what it currently looks like to add a Taler exchange.
(A Taler exchange is where you would get Taler coins from.)

For the balances, the app groups the balances by currency (because I think it makes more sense to more people that way).
If you tap on the currency balance, then it shows the breakdown per Taler exchange.

On a tangent: #Taler not only supports P2P payments, but offers a privacy-preserving mechanism for age-restriction, built-in into the coins, as well.
Parents can give their children coins that are usable only for items up to - say - 12. The proof of the requirement doesn't reveal the actual age of the payer.
