Maron wasn't the only fascinating thing by the river. There were interesting sweet-smelling flowers on vines reach up from the river and cement.. There was a big bug on a big leaf... Maron tried to eat a big, bloated dead mole and it took two of us to get it out of her mouth while I held her upside down. Today I tried to do the same sort of thing, unsuccessfully, with whatever the white chunk of stuff was... Her tail wagged a few times when I reached down to get started with the attempt. Maybe she thinks it's a game now and we have to come up for a new strategy before she grabs and swallows something that will later have her retching so much there's a need for a hospital visit...
It's good to see the river, think on the watershed at least once a week...
