#Tahoe is the first macOS in a while that needs regular rebooting. Finder and Control Centre both keep getting into unstable states.
This is fine… each orange bubble is a click. Eventually, I am permitted to edit the settings. #Tahoe
Nothing to see here, move along… #Tahoe

With reduce transparency turned off and liquid glass set to transparent, the floaty sidebars in all apps on #Tahoe pick up on color several layers behind the currently active window. It looks very odd… here you can see the yellow glow in the Feedback Assistant app’s sidebar.

Behind Feedback Assistant is a Finder window, and behind Finder is the source of the yellow glow: Steam.

Hello Mail-crash my old friend.
I've come to sub-mit you again.

OK, that didn’t take long. Every time I open an app that has opted out of Liquid Glass, I feel myself relax. It's like exhaling after you’ve held your breath without noticing. macOS #Tahoe is extremely poorly designed. Its full of visual noise, the UI is cluttered and ugly. Things are very hard to read, very often. This is actually worse than Vista! Ugh!
Latest accomplishment: macOS #Tahoe thinks my Time Machine Drive is empty. It is most certainly not.

Sneak peak of the #macOS 27 UI, which looks like a natural progression of the macOS 26 design.

Too little, too late, #Apple. You made it very clear we had to update to #Tahoe to prevent device armageddon so reluctantly I did, on both iPhones and the family iPad.

And now, over a week after all the #DarkSword mass panic and upgrading, you change your mind? Not cool.

But I won’t be buying any more Apple devices anyway. For a variety of reasons, many of which relate to your contempt for your users - which is clearly shown by this late action.

Apple Will Push Out Rare ‘Backported’ Patches to Protect iOS 18 Users From DarkSword Hacking Tool

As DarkSword spreads, Apple tells WIRED it will enable iOS 18-specific fixes for millions of iPhone owners who remain on that iOS version rather than force them to update to iOS 26.
