Although #Scotland has done really well in keeping down the #murder rate in #cities and large towns, they might still have issues in #rural areas - this whole case is like a real life episode of #Taggart [1]

But I am reminded that they continued to call it #Taggart for 16 years after Mark McManus died.
Not a good look to have fired an actor for being treated for cancer, though.
Found scrawled on a doorway to a tenement close in Shawlands. I'm sure it wasn't meant that way, but when read in a Taggart-style Glaswegian accent, these words can sometimes sound more like a threat than a heart-felt expression of true love!
The unofficial Detective Chief Inspector Mike Jardine memorial plaque under the Caledonian Railway Bridge in Glasgow. This definitely falls into the Keep Glasgow Weird category as DCI Jardine was a fictional character in Taggart, the much loved Glaswegian Police Drama. He was killed in a 2002 episode called Death Trap after being knocked unconscious and thrown into the Clyde where he drowned.
