Mastodon is doing everything to prevent me from doing what I want: expand a given post in a new tab:
1)CTRL-click wrongly overwrites current tab instead of opening a new one
2)CTRL-click on"Expand this post"in the"..."menu of the post wrongly overwrites current tab instead of opening a new one
3)When I try to work it around by duplicating the tab, the duplication takes ages and functions wrong - the position on the page is wrong, which causes data loss
4)When I try to work it around by CTRL-click and then CTRL-back, the CTRL-back takes ages and functions wrong - the position on the page is wrong, which causes data loss.
5)Right click menu has no open link in new tab
I feel contempt towards Mastodon when Mastodon is going out of its way in preventing me from using a standard browser semantics and all possible workarounds I can come up with. I perceive Mastodon as passive aggressive and obstructionist.
