Auch wenn Weihnachten ja noch 6 Wochen hin ist (omg nur noch 6 Wochen? 😅🙈) hatten wir in den Pyrenäen einen kleinen Vorgeschmack auf weiße Weihnachten.
OK, bis Weihnachten wollten wir dann doch nicht bleiben.
Hier war es uns mit -4 Grad auf Dauer dann doch zu kalt.
Aber während der ganzen Wanderung haben wir schonmal kräftig Weihnachtslieder gesungen!

Even though Christmas is still 6 weeks away (omg only 6 weeks away? 😅🙈), we had a little taste of a white Christmas in the Pyrenees.
OK, we didn't want to stay until Christmas after all.
At -4 degrees, it was too cold for us here in the long run.
But during the whole hike we sang Christmas carols!

🇩🇪Pflanzen im Auto 😜🌱
Da unser Ausbau vorüber ist kommen jetzt so die kleinen Dinge die den Van so richtig gemütlich machen, wie z.B eine Pflanze.
So Bund wie auf dem Bild wird es bei uns sicher nicht 😅 aber wie ist das eigendlich mit der Befestigung?
Pflanzenhänger sind zwar schön, aber die Fahrt über muss die Pflanze doch irgendwo sicher verstaut werden, oder?
Wie macht ihr das?
Habt ihr Pflanzen im Van?
Und wen ja wo hat sie ihren Platz?

Now that our extension is over, it's time for the little things that make the van really cosy, like a plant.
It certainly won't be as wide as in the picture 😅 but what about the mounting?
Plant hangers are nice, but the plant has to be stowed somewhere safe for the journey, doesn't it?
How do you do that?
Do you have plants in the van?
And if so, where does it sit?

🇩🇪Unsere Hundebox ist endlich fertig und es ist mehr als nur eine HundeBox.
Die Fläche auf der Box ist zu einem Teil die Unterkonstruktion für unser Bett, zum anderen Teil ist es unsere Küchenarbeitsplatte.
Damit diese leicht zu Reinigen ist, haben wir eine Große Fliese zugeschnitten und auf die Box geklebt. So gibt es keine Fugen wo Schmutz sich sammeln kann 🤗.
Die Tür der Box kann man aushängen, so kann die Tür einfach und platzsparend entfernt werden, wenn wir den Drehsitz im Raum brauchen.
Die Box hat eine Liegefläche von 72cmx85cm und ist auf einer Siebdruckplatte aufgebaut. Die übrige Box ist aus 1,5cm Multiplex Fichte.Natürlich wieder gebeizt und mit Wasserlack behandelt.
In den Wänden sind natürlich auch noch Bohrungen damit Momo nicht in einem dunklen Kasten hockt.🐕‍🦺

🇬🇧Our dog box is finally finished and it is more than just a dog box.
The surface on the box is partly the substructure for our bed, and partly our kitchen worktop.
To make it easy to clean, we cut a large tile and glued it to the box. This way there are no gaps where dirt can collect 🤗.
The door of the box can be unhooked, so the door can be easily removed to save space when we need the swivel seat in the room.
The box has a lying surface of 72cmx85cm and is built on a screen printing plate. The rest of the box is made of 1,5cm multiplex spruce, of course stained and treated with water varnish.
Of course, there are also holes in the walls so that Momo doesn't have to squat in a dark box.🐕‍🦺

Diese kleinen Holz L's sind unsere Schubladensicherungen.
Lange haben wir überlegt und in Baumärkten gesucht und sind doch immer enttäuscht wieder herausgekommen. Irgendwie gab es nie das was wir brauchten.Also mussten wir kreativ werden und die Sicherungen einfach selber bauen.

These little wooden L's are our drawer locks.
We thought about it for a long time and searched in DIY stores, but always came out disappointed. Somehow we never found what we needed, so we had to get creative and build them ourselves.
