@zakalwe @benroyce Sometimes those old scripts speak to us now. I have no doubt that what the writers wrote was intentional, but could they have foreseen the relevance to our time? I think yes. #SciFi #Syfi gave them the freedom to think about big questions.

The number of highly educated viewers is probably not enough these days to keep a show on the air. Anyway, it is less about education and more about empathic, informed people who can think critically.

@bruces Snow Crash is full of gems like this one. Insights beyond, but yet seemingly inevitable and within grasp. The author, #BruceSterling, saw farther ahead than any other writer of that time. Read this book and you’ll be hooked on #speculative #fiction, hard #syfi or as I like to think, “pre-fact fiction.”
