revisited Pokemon Shield for a bit, which prompted a quick comparison to Violet
technical & performance issues aside, Scarlet/Violet had a lot of nice improvements over SwSh, with the UI and open world and whatnot
but clothing options were such a massive step backward
The Paldea region feels alive and expansive compared to #SwordShield and #LegendsArceus. I love how the NPCs are all customized - I don’t feel like I’m looking at the same model in every battle or interaction.
I love things like the moving clouds that cast shadows, and sunsets and starry nights, and the maze-like canyons and towering cliffs.
Clothing and Pokemon are actual textures. Buziel has fur! It doesn’t look like a plastic toy anymore! Characters actually look wet in the rain.
The Max Lair in the Crown Tundra = highly recommended, 10/10 👍

Additionally, some version exclusive Pokémon will be appearing in raids in the opposite game, including Rapidash, Corsola, Mandibuzz, Oranguru, and Indeedee (female) in Sword and Darumaka, Braviary, Passimmian, Sirferch'd, and Indeedee (male) in Shield.
