Open du Port de la Lune, day two - saber and sword and buckler. In the saber group I lost only once, most narrowly 6:7, and won in the other three bouts. I advanced to the elimination where I won in the first round, but in the next one (top 8) I lost.
In the sword and buckler group I also lost once, and won twice. In the elimination, to which 8 of 12 fighters advanced, I won in the first round, then I lost in the semifinal. In the very last fight, I was able to win, claiming the bronze medal 🥉. Unless I remember incorrectly, this is my first medal for sword and buckler.
Congratulations to Batesta Bordeaux for a well organised tournament, especially considering this was the first time 👏

In the saber group I won two times and lost two times, and was 27th after groups. I won in the round of 64 (but only 48 advanced), but I lost in the next round to Tomek Pawliszewski. I don't know why, but I (almost) always enjoy sword and buckler in Poland very much, even when the results are not great. I won 3 bouts in the group, and lost 2. I advanced to the elimination as 16th (20 fighters advanced), where I lost in the first fight with Jan Blažek, like in rapier with dagger the day before. I liked the whole tournament, and I am happy that I went there. Photos are ugly because they are taken from video.
