BobI passed people having bbq's in the nature reserve today - it's been dry for weeks & very hot today. It takes a small spark & large areas of woodland that took decades to grow are gone.
2 big fires in a week. The rangers told me that fire brigade already attending an incident in northern sector of the park.
Dropping glass bottles may seem innocuous, but if the sun catches the right angle, you've got a magnifying glass and a possible fire.
