New blogpost: Review of the BFG at Chicester Festival Theatre.
This fantastic performance of Roald Dahl's story has, alas, finished its run in the UK. If you are in #Singapore then you are in luck, but be quick - it's only on for a couple of weeks.

Theatre review: The BFG
We don’t get out to the theatre very often - it’s the sort of thing that falls away when you become a parent. So when we were offered tickets for our family to see a stage show of Roald Dahl’s BFG co-produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Chichester Festival Theatre, we jumped at the chance1. The main stage of the Chichester Festival Theatre is a superb venue, packing up to 1,300 people into the space while keeping a feeling of immediacy and contact with the performers. We were lucky enough to be within the first few rows, but I know from previous experience that the back rows do not suffer thanks to the lack of pillars and the way the seating is wrapped around the stage.
