Just taken NewCar to see the suspension bridge.
I really like standing on it and looking towards the city.

BHC Pic of the Week Nr. 364: Kettensteg in Nuremberg
Our next bridges in the Nuremberg Bridge Tour Series will focus on the Westtorgraben Ensemble. This features three unique bridges spanning the River Pegnitz, whose build dates for each one go as far back as more than 150 years ago. In fact this bridge, featured in the Pic of the Week profile, is considered one of the Historic Old Town's Prized Wonders. The Kettensteg is a steel pedestrian suspension bridge located on the inner portion of the Westtor Ensemble and the walls of the Old Town, […]Opposite side of the continent, this is a suspension bridge over a tidal river, in Tidnish, Nova Scotia. All is fun and good until some jerk comes running on and starts jumping up and down. 😀

Part 6
Akashi Kaikyo Bridge
Filmed it with my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and with my Canon R50 with a Samyang AF 12 / 2 lense.
In this particular lighting scenario, the R50 decisively outperformed the Osmo Pocket 3.
The red light on the left side in the first part is a night angler and not an error / glitch.
And yes ambulances have red lights in Japan (visible on the bridge).

Part 4
Akashi Kaikyo Bridge
The bridge is impressive during the day and a real beauty at night.
As soon as the sun sets, the bridge turns on its lights.
If I read correctly there are 31 different light modes available.
Which light mode is shown depends on the time of the year, if it is a full or half hour and if it is a special occasion (sakura, etc).

Part 2
Akashi Kaikyo Bridge!
On the side of Kobe you have the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge Exhibition Center and the Maiko Marine Promenade which is an observation deck.
Sounds boring?!
Definitely not!
For 250¥ you can go up to the observation deck on the underside of the bridge!
You go up onto the 8th floor and then walk a footpath "under" the bridge :)

Part 1
Akashi Kaikyo Bridge!
The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge is the world's second longest suspension bridge with a main span of 1.991m connecting Kobe and Awaji Island with a total length of 3.911m.
Some might wonder why 1.991m?!
Originally it was 1.990m but the Great Hanshin Earthquake moved the two towers and so 1 extra meter had to be added.
