It is a lovely story about debugging TLS connection issues from Django to PostgreSQL.

The root cause turned out to be libpq erroring out when running with the environment variable $HOME set to an existing but unreadable path, in this case "/root"

The one on one meeting that I had with my supervisor today went really well.

She told me that I'm actually ahead of where I should be at the nearly 3 month mark and that I'm doing exceptionally well.

She also told me that they are hiring for at least one more person in my immediate department and that once they get someone hired and trained, that I will be moving up to an earlier shift since I'm doing so well.

I'm hoping they can get someone hired in the next few weeks and then trained over 2 - 3 months, very similar to what I went through.

I don't mind working the 11am - 8pm EST shift, I'd certainly love to work earlier so I can be done earlier. The later shift however is much slower, which isn't a bad thing at all.
