In recognition of #SuperbOWL #SuperOWLSunday today (only recognition of great photography, NOT any interest of some US folderol, I present the only recent owl photos I’ve taken. Both are in a large outdoor cage at the Phoenix zoo. I was about 100’ away so these were lucky shots via Canon Mark IV, 300mm prime lens.

For friends who followed me on the old Mastodon instance, this is shared again here. I just enjoyed seeing all the #Owl photos here today.

For some friends I also share that the expression on the owl face is pretty evocative of my face lately when reading “news”.
